Did you order more Shenanigans?

Hi All,
As you can see from the title, more fun and challenging stuff happened. There were no videos for a brief period because I was getting my internet swapped to the National Broadband Network, which led to no internet, which led to the expensive IT man coming and setting everything straight.

Then came Christmas.

We wanted to upload some Drunk Mario Party 2 (I think it's 2) from Liam's party that he had early December. It doesn't seem to want to stay still and keeps disappearing. The morning after the party, we checked Liam's computer to see if the footage recorded. I don't remember if he made sure it was recording, but he remembers there being a REC in the top-right corner of the screen. That's where it's supposed to be. We couldn't find where the footage supposedly went. I know what it's supposed to be called, but we couldn't find it on Liam's external hard drive or even on his computer hard drive.

Several weeks later I went to his house to work on my Hale Kane Comics (shameless plug) and he, while fucking around and doing shit all, randomly came across the footage.

On Christmas Eve I drove to his house to pick up the footage, and what he'd edited of it, and he had put everything on an 8 GB flash drive. Later on, at home, I tried plugging in the USB and seeing what he'd given me. Apparently there was nothing. I texted him and told him that I was only seeing the font for the videos, the only thing on the drive. He checked his computer and couldn't find the footage. He suggested that maybe he'd cut and pasted it. Upon reflection, this would not have happened, because the transfer would not have been possible because the footage is way too big for an 8 GB drive.

Our only conclusion is that the footage is haunted and mysteriously ghosts its way around the place.

So the schedule will remain normal. We want to do some more Nintendo 64 games because we can do that now. So far, that's everything.

Bye All!

Shenanigans

Hi All,
Today I did a thing:

Look ma I did a thing! pic.twitter.com/gsmnNVjIph

I will do Red Week next week.

Liam had a party last night and we recorded some Mario Party on Nintendo 64, but we couldn't find the video footage. So we don't know what's going on with it. We plan to record more Nintendo 64 stuff now that we know we can.

We also did the Top 10 at the party, but after editing it I realised it's actually a Top 9 even though we uploaded more than 9 videos.

There's plenty more GM Industries stuff to come and plenty more Luigi's Mansion episodes too.
That's everything for right now, have a safe and happy Saturday!

Bye All!

General Motors Industries

Hi All,

Today I uploaded the first episode of G.M. Industries. Basically Liam is unavailable to record videos, so I have taken this opportunity to do videos without him. I know it means the channel would operate as though it's mine, but there are a few more episodes of Luigi's Mansion so things might work out as a side piece to IM.

I recorded some stuff with Reflex, who you might know from the popular Titan Souls series we did around this time last year. Today we recorded some V8 Supercars 3 and there will be another game afterwards which I am not going to spoil, but let's just say we've done it before.

Additionally, I have made plans to do more with another friend who has also been in videos before, except more recently than Reflex.

The previous post may help explain why Liam is unavailable, but apart from that I don't really know.

Bye All!

Two Wheeling

Hi All,

For the next few weeks you may notice a lack of videos when Liam is supposed to upload. This is because he is helping some of his family move house.

@MrMabeanie Im not moving but my dad is, hes selling the house so we all have help move everything out

This means that it is highly likely that he will be unable to upload any Time Fcuk (on Saturdays) or World of Goo (Mon, Wed, Fridays). Luigi's Mansion will be fine. However, I am preparing for an exam, so episodes may occasionally be late uploads.

The October Top 10 will come out soon depending on whether I can find a good, quiet location in public somewhere. I don't want to embarrass myself by talking to a microphone about something on YouTube. Just a personal thing, because I care about my image.

Anyway,
Bye All!

That time of year again

Hi All,
Around August and October of every year, we get bogged down in studying and can't manage to record enough videos for AIM, and here we are again.
This Friday that just passed was supposed to be another recording session for World of Goo, but I had an essay to do and decided to cancel the session
Today I finished my essay, but now Liam's busy. There will be Luigi's Mansion episodes, but because we've run out of everything else, that's all that's going to go up this week.

However we are going to try and record something multiplayer when Liam has a gap of time we can work with. Additionally we will have a recording session this Friday coming for more World of Goo. We don't know what's going to replace Jazz punk or if anything should.
Liam wants to find something to replace Civ 5 multiplayer, but I don't think we need to. We did fine when we were uploading Hotline Miami.
This sort of situation used to result in episodes of A.I. or A.M. Industries, but because Frank can't record we're just going to have to go slow.

Trivia about Civ 5

Hi All,

I've just uploaded, tagged and annotated the last episode of Civ 5 multiplayer. While it's not called 'Finale' like most of our final episodes, that's what it is. Anyway, as I made the thumbnail I noticed a few things about the series as it came to an end.

1. I become increasingly insignificant in the thumbnail, mainly because I had a hangover in the last recording session.
2. Liam conquers the world. This isn't so unexpected as France encountered a revolution and in the thumbnail, Liam conquered the revolutionary province. That didn't actually happen in the episodes. The revolution did, but Liam never got any of my cities. By the end though, we agree that Russian conquest of France was inevitable.
3. The episode number gets smaller. Thumbnail creation is a difficult thing and the information you put up seems to become more unnecessary as time goes on because of the scene that you might create for the thumbnail.

Anyway, that's all the thumbnails I made since that session where we didn't record the footage.
Bye All!

Civ 5 pictures

Hi All,

I was looking through some of the pictures I made for the last five Civ 5 episodes and have decided to put them up here on the blog. I did this because I'm pretty sure that the list of Ihasnotomato and the Korea peace treaty were only shown for a few seconds. Even if I'm wrong, I'm putting them here anyway.

Also I thought I should put this picture of Germany here because it is actually wrong. It was the Allies who didn't want a unified Germany and the Soviet Union who did. Perhaps this is unsurprising as all the effort that France, USA and the UK went to in order to defeat Germany would have been a waste if Germany was returned all of its assets so it could start another war. This is unless you only believe that Hitler was a one off thing and that most Germans believed Hitler was a bad thing. For all I know, this could have been the case.

I will be uploading the next episode of Civ 5 multiplayer around 3pm today because Ihasnotomato uploaded the latest episode of Jazzpunk at 3am last night.

Bye All!

Reform Part 2: Channel Banner

Hi All,

Yesterday Liam added the new channel banner, officially replacing the old one and basically declaring part 2 of the changes.

It shows the two of us eating doritos, skittles and drinking alcoholic beverages. By the looks of things we're at a TV station because of all the screens and expensive microphones. Maybe we'll get there one day, but it's a fun picture to look at.

There's also a cigarette. I don't know why. Also there's a pizza box, because sometimes we have dinner.

Anyway, the next thing we're going to do is make the new channel trailer. To be honest, I have no idea how we're going to do it, but some things will be different. We won't say what series we do, or what the schedule is, because that clearly didn't work last time. Liam thinks we should just do a trailer saying what we're about. So we probably will, although I am now a bit excited about trying to replicate the TV station vibe that he's put up.

Bye All!

Reform Part 1: Outro and background

Hi All!

So at last, more than a month since things got real, we have some new looks coming on.
Pimples everywhere, ear piercings, tattoos and leather jackets. You name a period of our lives where we pretend to be unique; we'll start leaving.

Liam emailed me the new look stuff just before he uploaded the first episode of World of Goo, but then he quickly changed his mind on the colours. Here's what they were going to look like:

Now he's gone with a more blue and true look:

And here's the new World of Goo episode:

I've taken the new background and outro and am currently rendering episode 86 of Poke'mon Colosseum, which will go up tomorrow.

I expect there will be more visual changes on the channel, like a new channel banner and maybe a new logo, but we'll see.

Bye All!

Existential Crisis

Hi All!

Yesterday Liam came over to my house and we recorded Civ 5 for 3 hours and then the next Console Gaming Series game for almost 1 hour. The Civ 5 footage didn't capture, so I made a re-enactment and we'll probably record more Civ 5 sooner than expected because of this.

Now the workload has been balanced:

Liam: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. PC Gaming series
Me: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Console Gaming Series and Civ 5

Watch the video and comment; let me know if you think I should keep doing the re-enactments.

Bye All!
