How things have been

Hi All,

As the year comes to an end, it may be of interest to you that we haven't been uploading most of what we recorded in the past week.

On the 21st of December Liam and I got together with our friend Hacker_Reflex and recorded three videos. Those videos haven't been uploaded yet. Before then Liam and I had recorded Black Ops and another game. The other game hasn't been uploaded, so I will ask Liam what's going on. He did manage to upload the Super Meat Boy drunk video with our friends Ben and Brad. In that video we mentioned doing Drunk Souls, which we did record and that also hasn't been uploaded.

To sum it up, there are five videos that haven't been uploaded yet. I will ask Liam what's going on and offer to share the load, as I haven't missed a day of Poke'mon Colosseum.

Bye All!

Special Stuff on the Way

Hi All,

Mabeanie here to say that before the end of the year we will be uploading more one-offs of PC games as well as an episode of G.I.M. with one of our friends as a guest. Lastly there will be a Christmas special. I think I mentioned this before, but if Frank isn't available to do the Year in Review then it will be postponed until a later date, meaning next year. He moved to Arizona recently, so that's part of the reason why he hasn't been available for recording, but Liam managed to get in touch with him just to find out what's going on.

That's it for now.

New Temporary Schedule

Hi All,

Today I (Mabeanie) went to see Ihasnotomato and we discussed the current situation with Frank being unavailable for recording sessions.
We've been uploading mainly Poke'mon Colosseum, but it won't run out until a bit into 2016. So we agreed to start a clean slate for next year and will now be uploading Poke'mon Colosseum on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week for the rest of the year until we run out of episodes.

We recorded some one-off PC stuff to help compensate for the lack of variety in videos and will be doing a Christmas special, with or without Frank. Probably without.

In between Poke'mon uploads, Liam will upload the one-offs and if he can't then I will have to do it.
Bye All!

Back to Work!

Hi All!
Mabeanie here to say that AIM will be returning. According to Ihasnotomato "Due to technical problems and time restraints there won't be any videos for the rest of this week,I will try to upload castle crashes tho". That was tweeted on October 15th, a month ago.

However Liam and I have agreed to a new recording session to take place on Saturday. We will record some more Poke'mon Colosseum and maybe some other games.

Christmas is coming up and I want to do another special video. Additionally I want to make an AI Industries trailer and 'Mabeanie returns' skit. Also we still haven't done the AIM Branded Products video, which is probably going to be great.

So that's everything. I did a tweet that has a poll, but it's more of a joke than an actual question. https://twitter.com/AIMindustries/status/667185618112262145

A.I. Industries

Hi All!
Mabeanie here just to let you know that Ihasnotomato and Akirasora have launched A.I. Industries while I'm taking a break to focus on my studies at University. For more information on that click here.
So far it's looked pretty interesting with the most recent episode of Tabletop Simulator Checkers being one I laughed at because of Liam being angry and confused at Frank.
Here's the videos:
This is the one I laughed at.

I don't expect to return to AIM until the 14th of December when my only exam happens.
That's everything.
Bye All!

More series ideas

Hi All!

I watched the A Brief History of Banjo-Kazooie, I've been playing a lot of Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 and I miss the old days of AIM a little bit. Mostly the staying up until 1 in the morning to finish recording Nuts and Bolts. Generally I want to play a bunch of games on IM Industries.

NFS: Most Wanted (2005) - I've played a lot of it and I think it would be interesting to see how Liam plays it while I coach him on how to play. I might want to get a controller for it though.

Banjo-Kazooie - One of Frank and Liam's favourite games that they referred to during the Nuts and Bolts series while it lasted. I want to play it though.

So I want the next recording session to have a huge variety because I feel like it gets boring when we're just playing the same games for 3 months and then one game changes. So I'll ask Liam and see what he thinks.

Meanwhile the first episode of Poke'mon Colosseum has been positively received by the audience which showed its face to the 4 year anniversary video. Dammit I want to watch that video again for the billionth time despite me being to one who edited. However I can't because I have a ton of reading to do.

Poke'mon Colosseum begins!

Hi All!

We were going to do Tomb Raider 2, but that didn't work. So we're doing Poke'mon Colosseum instead. The recording session got interesting fast. My favourite episode is episode 3. It will be out on the 25th of August.

Another thing that happened recently is we did a 4 year Anniversary video. I was drunk, so things got funny pretty quickly. If you're interested in how AIM came to be then that is the video you should watch as well as the Year in Review video we did at the end of last year.

Also because Sonic finished I was thinking maybe I could do a Best of Sonic Adventure DX video or make the next channel trailer because I get the feeling we're due for a new one.

Also, because fuck variety (I will write also another fifty times if I had fifty more things to say/), in the 4 year Anniversary video we briefly spoke about how the blog isn't regularly updated. If you think this blog is bad you should look at mine. We have a Twitter account, but for the most part it is just updates on when we upload videos. I prefer to receive emails from YouTube whenever a new AIM video comes out.

That's about it. We need to record more Left 4 Dead 2 and probably Quasar. Obviously at some point we will need to record more Worms for when Poke'mon Colosseum ends. Ok cool.

Friendship Over!

Hi All!

Last night we recorded the end of Synergy. At the time we were recording, Akirasora's family were preparing to move houses. What this means is that he won't be able to upload episodes of Quasar for the week while he and his family sort out moving into the new house and setting everything up.

Meanwhile I will be re-uploading old episodes of I.M. Industries. Synergy will still be uploaded as usual and so too will Sonic Adventure DX. So in simple terms the schedule is the same except there will be more I.M. Industries. This is only while Akirasora is re-establishing himself.

Campaign has begun!

Hi All!
Yesterday I began a campaign on YouTube, which will display our channel trailer to random people all over the world. I asked Liam and he said he didn't know you could actually do that. Nevertheless he was supportive of the decision and now here I am telling you about it. So if you ever see the 'AIM Industries is...' trailer and you are subscribed to us, please don't watch it because it costs me money.

Campaigning on YouTube

Hi All!
Mabeanie here to say that the past few days I've been thinking of launching a video ad campaign. The purpose of this is to attract new viewers to our channel.  Now I tried this, going to the extent of clicking the promote button on our channel trailer (current one) and choosing the locations that the video ad will be played, how it will be played, and the budget for the campaign. However when I was just about to start entering credit card details I came to a realisation that we, or I in the least, could release trailers for our series; one for AIM, one for IM, and one for Quasar. But this would be to attract our subscribers to watch our videos, possibly changing how many of them watch our videos. Oh, speaking of subscribers, I came across this cool thing on the channel which tells us who the last subscriber was and when they subscribed. I thought that was pretty cool, but I hope that subscribers can find out when they subscribed in the same way.

I'll see what Frank and Liam think before we come to a decision about this.
Bye All!

AIM is for Mature Audiences

Hi All!
Mabeanie here to say that now the Sonic Adventure DX has entered the Knuckles campaign it is important for us to say that we talk about some mature stuff. So if you wish to watch our footage, but not be interested in hearing us talk about mature things, I recommend muting the video. Also now would be a good opportunity to point out that AIM in general is for Mature Audiences and that parental guidance is recommended for young audiences. Young is from 0-18 years of age. Please refer to your country's classification system for more information.

Why Quasar's background on the channel art is green.

That's a long title.

Hi All!
I thought I should do this post because some of you from the future may wonder the thing on the title.
Here's why: (Changed for correct spelling and punctuation)
I choose green because, from a graphic design standpoint, having distinct alternate colours helps greatly in defining each series. I choose green specifically because it's bright and very different from the other two.
None the less here's what it looks like with the other 3 colours.

Possible Paradox

Hey all!
It's Mabeanie and today I've been working a bit on a Quasar Trailer. Shhh!!!
Anyway, it involves time travel and I think I have written it improperly.

Quasar, coming soon...

Hi All!
Born out of Project Chocolate is Quasar; three views of the A.I.M. members trying to accomplish the same task in the same game. Commentary will be assisted with a topic to discuss and hopefully it will all be fun.
Also, I think that the faces on the logo look cute :3

Project Chocolate needs more things!

Hi All!

So today Ihasnotomato came over to my house and we recorded a bunch of Sonic Adventure DX for I.M. Industries. One of the things we spoke about during this day was Project Chocolate, so here are the main points:
  • Name: Ihasnotomato wishes to change the name to something more official.
  • Concept: He dislikes the idea of it being two guys playing the same game and not really doing anything specific, but he did like the idea of one certain goal that both players would be trying to achieve.
  • My thoughts: I like Project Chocolate as it is, but I'm always welcoming to change. Change is fun.  With 2015 AIM being more professional and consistent I want the series we run to be specific and enjoyable, and changing the way Project Chocolate works is certainly a possible way of achieving that. My problem is that the series is one of our most popular ones and changing it could ruin that for the series.
So my ideas include integrating a Q&A part into the series where we answer questions sent by fans, and a game show idea which is actually limited to that; a "game show" rather than being anything in particular. It was also a bit of a joke suggestion.
If you have any ideas, feel free to voice them. Meanwhile we will continue to think about it and hopefully have some new version of the show put together by the time the next episode of Project Chocolate comes out.

Bye All!
