You may have noticed that we changed the name of the channel on YouTube and Twitter, and may be wondering why that happened.
It was a happy accident. Tomato and I had been talking about changing the AIM logo for two or more years. That logo was made in 2013 and since then we've gone through visual changes on the channel multiple times. A week or two ago, Tomato sent me an email showing the proposed logo. He had asked me before that how I wanted the characters to be arranged, and I said that they should be arranged SAIM (Stephanie, Akirasora, Ihasnotomato, Mabeanie). I didn't expect him to add that in text to the logo, but I suppose it makes sense. We mainly changed the imagery because Tomato is changing his avatar, and added Stephanie now that she's become a more important part of the group.
Calling the channel SAIM was hilarious when we first did it, but it has had consequences. When we upload the episodes to YouTube (Stephanie edits but does not upload the videos), we have to add buttons to a video screen at the end. This involves looking for the relevant playlist, and so the slight change is writing "saim industries majora's mask" in the search instead of "aim industries majora's mask". I wonder if there have been bigger consequences from this, like people being unable to find the channel due to the name change. We have changed it a few times over the years, like when we made IM the channel name in 2016 and changed it back to AIM when Akirasora returned to being in videos.
Anyway, I thought that I should update you all on that side of things.
