Hi All!
Sorry about the last month of trouble, but we're back uploading videos.
Stephanie now has the footage and Ihasnotomato is uploading them. I can't do much with my computer troubles, but they came over and we sorted through things to work out how to get videos going again.
There's nothing else to report on apart from that.
See Ya!

Setbacks
Hi All,
So you might have noticed that we haven't posted any videos in a week.
The problem is that Ihasnotomato is at a place with bad upload speed (Stephanie refuses to travel to the place) and my computer has been having trouble and so I am trying to correct that issue.
We have Mario Odyssey and Borderlands 2 episodes recorded, but neither of us are in a position to upload them.
We hope to get back into it soon.
Bye All!

The road to November
Hi All,
It has been a good while since I last posted, but SAIM has been going well. Both Ihasnotomato and I are busy/lazy people and weren't uploading for a week recently. Nevertheless, we had a recording session last Friday and did more Metroid Fusion (finished it!) and Borderlands 2 (about 2/3rds through it now).
Ihasnotomato has been watching long breakdowns of the gradual decline of Game Grumps, because everybody needs something to make them sadder. I don't know, I guess he relates to it because he has tuned out of them since 2017 or something. Nevertheless, he informed me that we need to get our videos to be a good quality because like Game Grumps, not every one of our videos are good, and so we should try to make it so that every time anybody tunes into our channel, they get some good content. So we've decided to just go with the flow for our videos, which means that our editor Stephanie has to make a cut whenever we stop talking or struggle to get through a part of the game.
I've called this blog post "The road to November" because that month we will start posting episodes of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. We have also started taking that into consideration when we decide what game to do next for the Console Gaming Series. I realise now that we should determine the exact date that we want to start posting episodes of the series so that we can organise everything around it. At the moment, all we know is that we want to play a game that will only take a few months to finish in case it overlaps with Twilight Princess.
The 25th of November 2014 was when Twilight Princess was recorded originally, and five years later we are aiming for Tuesday the 26th of November 2019 to be the date that the first episode is posted.
Now that's all cleared up, that's my post done. See you in six years.

SAIM old AIM
Hi All!
You may have noticed that we changed the name of the channel on YouTube and Twitter, and may be wondering why that happened.
It was a happy accident. Tomato and I had been talking about changing the AIM logo for two or more years. That logo was made in 2013 and since then we've gone through visual changes on the channel multiple times. A week or two ago, Tomato sent me an email showing the proposed logo. He had asked me before that how I wanted the characters to be arranged, and I said that they should be arranged SAIM (Stephanie, Akirasora, Ihasnotomato, Mabeanie). I didn't expect him to add that in text to the logo, but I suppose it makes sense. We mainly changed the imagery because Tomato is changing his avatar, and added Stephanie now that she's become a more important part of the group.
Calling the channel SAIM was hilarious when we first did it, but it has had consequences. When we upload the episodes to YouTube (Stephanie edits but does not upload the videos), we have to add buttons to a video screen at the end. This involves looking for the relevant playlist, and so the slight change is writing "saim industries majora's mask" in the search instead of "aim industries majora's mask". I wonder if there have been bigger consequences from this, like people being unable to find the channel due to the name change. We have changed it a few times over the years, like when we made IM the channel name in 2016 and changed it back to AIM when Akirasora returned to being in videos.
Anyway, I thought that I should update you all on that side of things.

200 Subscribers!!!
Hi All!
I finished Uni on June 8th, took a brief holiday with my family, and had a week off from working on anything creative. I check YouTube almost every day and noticed the sub count continue to grow while Liam and Frank ran the channel as A.I. Industries.
Liam admitted to me on the 15th of June, before we recorded one of my Friday Night Fun videos, that the fact that the channel has been dormant for the past month is entirely his fault. Who can blame him. The guy has 14k subs! His work is very good and the AIM channel has been growing, so there haven't been any negative effects of neglecting the channel for a bit.
Nevertheless, we have a Majora's Mask recording session scheduled for Monday the 25th. If we don't discuss plans for AIM tomorrow (working on comics), then we will probably do so at the recording session. My thoughts currently are to do something to celebrate 200 subs, officially reintegrate Frank into the channel and rebrand ourselves as AIM again (hopefully with a new logo). I also want to revive Quasar, maybe A.M. as well. I want the three of us to have some discussions about how we're going to go about this new era that almost certainly awaits us.
We've been through a rough patch for the past four years, largely because of Frank's availability. It's broad to say that. Views have been up and down on occasion. In mid-2016 we declared ourselves officially IM and renamed everything. The first downturn in views, subscriber growth, and watch time was in 2016, followed by an incredible 2017 in which we skyrocketed from 47 to 113 subscribers. The trend continues in 2018 when we have now reached 200, a bigger growth than in 2017! Almost every year before 2017, we created a new show because one of us was unavailable. In 2013 we created IM, in 2014 AM, 2015 with AI, and 2016 with GM Industries. During a tough year for myself one of the things that I stuck to was uploading videos for AIM in 2017. However, this year is the first in my entire YouTube career (since 2010) that I stopped even making videos. I don't like centering the channel around myself, but this was obviously a key factor in the year so far.
I look forward to our Monday recording session. It will be a breath of fresh air after some head-down-bum-up time in the earlier part of this year. The road ahead is still foggy, but I have confidence for the time being. I always love to try new things so you'll never know what sort of stuff we might cook up in the time ahead.

A.I. for the first half of 2018
Hi All!
So I'm making sacrifices for my final semester at Uni before I graduate and become a qualified historian/political theorist or something. I don't know what the politics one is called. There are lots of names. I guess it depends on what I decide to do with it. My sacrifices include the following: No Supercars, no video editing, no recording sessions. I'm just thinking of the things that cost my significant amounts of my time and most likely have impacted on my work quality at Uni.
Until the 10th of March, we have Majora's Mask stuff. Ihasnotomato and I recorded a bunch of PC things and also finished Yooka-Laylee last Monday. We decided that he and Akirasora could record some A.I. Industries stuff while I'm dedicating my time elsewhere.
This will be a fun change for the channel and hopefully lasts longer than the last time they did A.I., which was about two weeks long. I need them to do about four months. I hope that it all works out.

So Much Housekeeping
Hey All!
So our channel exploded again.
Above is the growth from the last week. Below is the growth from March, last year.
I attribute the growth in the last week to Ihasnotomato. He released the new MvM TF2 video on our channel, and it got over 200 views. This, according to YouTube analytics, is due to the video that he released on his own channel which directed his viewers to our video. So our channel exploded from 117 subscribers to 159 in less than a week. In fact, It took a few hours for the majority of the growth to take place.
In terms of our 2018 plans, we're taking a big break after uploading 250-something videos in 2017, and just relaxing after such a long year. We'll return with more Yooka-Laylee and Majora's Mask, and are currently considering the creation of a new show, in which we will teach each other how to be good at the games that we suck at. The working title is Git Gud.
We will probably return as late as Australia Day, on the 26th of January.
Meanwhile, thanks for reading!

Having A Great Time
Hi All,
We're at 109 subscribers right now. Maybe it will drop down a bit, but views are up as well. I've started working harder at Uni as well, so that's good for my mental health. Also, Ihasnotomato has been having an orgasm every day. He gets super excited when he looks at the changes that Team Fortress 2 will experience when the new update drops. So, if you're into watching videos of people being excited, and if you haven't already, then please check his Jungle Inferno Update videos.
This morning, I recorded the audio for the Top 10 Videos and Video Of The Month for both August and September, so hopefully they will come out soon. I just have to manage my assignments and hobbies well enough.
Also, Yooka-Laylee is absolutely hilarious right now. The last two episodes, maybe even three, have been non-stop silliness. Our videos aren't always like that, because we're real people with our own emotions and lives, so add the latest Yooka-Laylee episodes to your watch list as well.
That's everything.

Slamming It
Hi All,
It's been a pretty sweet time here at AIM.
We're closing in on getting the band back together. We're producing more episodes every week (full schedule) with three episodes of Yooka-Laylee and three of Maj Mak. And we're making cool stuff for our 6 years/100 subs celebrations.
Also Liam has released his webcomic called Kass the Psychopath, and it's pretty interesting and tingles your emotions a little bit. I don't want to exaggerate how good it is, so I'll under-do it.

Maj Mak and Darwin
Hi All,
If you haven't noticed, we have no more Yooka-Laylee to upload onto the channel. However, we do have a whole lot of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask to upload. We recorded for 6 hours straight.
The reason why we haven't recorded more Yooka-Laylee is because Liam is away in Darwin to do an art retreat and focus on his webcomic called Kass.
This means we're humming along at two Maj Mak (our nickname for the game) episodes per week, but I think I should make Saturday another day for it. This is so that we get a new episode every other day, with a gap for the Sunday rest.
That's about it. I don't have much more to tell you.
Liam also did a video showing how he made the thumbnail art for the series, so here it is:
