Campaigning on YouTube

Hi All!
Mabeanie here to say that the past few days I've been thinking of launching a video ad campaign. The purpose of this is to attract new viewers to our channel.  Now I tried this, going to the extent of clicking the promote button on our channel trailer (current one) and choosing the locations that the video ad will be played, how it will be played, and the budget for the campaign. However when I was just about to start entering credit card details I came to a realisation that we, or I in the least, could release trailers for our series; one for AIM, one for IM, and one for Quasar. But this would be to attract our subscribers to watch our videos, possibly changing how many of them watch our videos. Oh, speaking of subscribers, I came across this cool thing on the channel which tells us who the last subscriber was and when they subscribed. I thought that was pretty cool, but I hope that subscribers can find out when they subscribed in the same way.

I'll see what Frank and Liam think before we come to a decision about this.

AIM is for Mature Audiences

Hi All!
Mabeanie here to say that now the Sonic Adventure DX has entered the Knuckles campaign it is important for us to say that we talk about some mature stuff. So if you wish to watch our footage, but not be interested in hearing us talk about mature things, I recommend muting the video. Also now would be a good opportunity to point out that AIM in general is for Mature Audiences and that parental guidance is recommended for young audiences. Young is from 0-18 years of age. Please refer to your country's classification system for more information.

Why Quasar's background on the channel art is green.

That's a long title.

Hi All!
I thought I should do this post because some of you from the future may wonder the thing on the title.
Here's why: (Changed for correct spelling and punctuation)
I choose green because, from a graphic design standpoint, having distinct alternate colours helps greatly in defining each series. I choose green specifically because it's bright and very different from the other two.
None the less here's what it looks like with the other 3 colours.

Possible Paradox

Hey all!
It's Mabeanie and today I've been working a bit on a Quasar Trailer. Shhh!!!
Anyway, it involves time travel and I think I have written it improperly.

Quasar, coming soon...

Hi All!
Born out of Project Chocolate is Quasar; three views of the A.I.M. members trying to accomplish the same task in the same game. Commentary will be assisted with a topic to discuss and hopefully it will all be fun.
Also, I think that the faces on the logo look cute :3

Project Chocolate needs more things!

Hi All!

So today Ihasnotomato came over to my house and we recorded a bunch of Sonic Adventure DX for I.M. Industries. One of the things we spoke about during this day was Project Chocolate, so here are the main points:
  • Name: Ihasnotomato wishes to change the name to something more official.
  • Concept: He dislikes the idea of it being two guys playing the same game and not really doing anything specific, but he did like the idea of one certain goal that both players would be trying to achieve.
  • My thoughts: I like Project Chocolate as it is, but I'm always welcoming to change. Change is fun.  With 2015 AIM being more professional and consistent I want the series we run to be specific and enjoyable, and changing the way Project Chocolate works is certainly a possible way of achieving that. My problem is that the series is one of our most popular ones and changing it could ruin that for the series.
So my ideas include integrating a Q&A part into the series where we answer questions sent by fans, and a game show idea which is actually limited to that; a "game show" rather than being anything in particular. It was also a bit of a joke suggestion.
If you have any ideas, feel free to voice them. Meanwhile we will continue to think about it and hopefully have some new version of the show put together by the time the next episode of Project Chocolate comes out.

Christmas look and thing of note.

Hi All!

Today Ihasnotomato was supposed to come over to my (Mabeanie's) house and record the first session of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. However just when I was encountering problems with getting the Dazzle to pick up video from the Wii he texts me saying that he cannot make it to the recording session because he has some things to attend to. Bummer. It sucked because not only was he unable to attend the recording session, the recording session wouldn't have been able to work out anyway with Skyward Sword being out for the count. So that's the bad news.

The good news is that while I was being unhappy I made it through the day having made this:
So I emailed Ihasnotomato the picture and suggested we could make some Christmas-style artwork on the channel. He loved it and so I went onward with the new task. So I did this and now it is a matter of waiting for the profile picture changes to come into effect. So now I've decided to make the Google Plus, YouTube and now Blog (after I've finished this post) have the new artwork.

The things

Hi all!

I thought I should make it official that the Console Gaming Series Season 2 has begun, the first video being Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 followed by Wario Ware, Inc: Mega Party Games!
Each game has three episodes and we will begin a proper series later on. It will be Skyward Sword, though we haven't recorded it :P

Anyway, here are the thumbnail pictures and video links ;)

Console Gaming Series: Series 2 Twilight Princess recording fail

Hey guys, I've had a sudden moment of extreme frustration,

One of myself and Liam's best recordings failed (Zelda: Twilight Princess) when I went to edit the recordings into episodes. While the video recording was fine, the audio had screwed up hugely. Instead of what we actually recorded there was static sound. I think it's something to do with my setup because it's happened before. I have the microphone (Samson Meteor Mic) plugged into a Doctor Who TARDIS USB hub, and that is plugged into the computer. I did some google searching and found this forum discussion (http://forum.ventrilo.com/showthread.php?t=30410) and the person has the same problem I do. So based on what they've said it's a sound card problem and replacing it fixed the issue. I have no clue as to what a sound card is, but I guess it's the thing that puts the sound into your computer. While the audio for Twilight Princess screwed up, the audio recordings for the other games we did were fine. So the problem is not constant, but happens occasionally.

So next time we record I will take precautions such as using devices not plugged into the computer to do the audio recordings. I'm very upset, but writing this post has calmed me down. Anyway, there will be videos from the new Console Gaming Series coming so buckle your belts up for a bumpy car fun time!

IT'S WORKING!!!

Hi All,
Mabeanie here to tell you all that I've got the Dazzle, Pinnacle, and everything set up for the new Console Gaming Series!

We're very excited because after Frank (Akirasora) left for the United States of America we've been struggling along after a sudden end to the old series. So I guess this can be called Console Gaming Series 2 where we are thinking about doing Zelda: Twilight Princess, some Sonic games and maybe some PlayStation 2 games that I have.

We look forward to it and the possibility is that by December we will have started uploading episodes of the new series.

Bye All!
